In order to try and make it so that everyone involved can compete on an equal footing, I thought I would devise a 'stock garage' of cars that we should all make sure we have.
Because the aim is to run weekly races (events), it will be nice to have a variety of cars to use - split into different classes.
In some cases, we will have one-make races where everyone is driving an identical make and model vehicle. In other cases, the restrictions will be based on power and weight, giving each person the chance to find the car that suits them best from the many available in-game (will also make for more impressive visuals in-game when everyone drives different cars).
The list below is by no means exhaustive, nor finalised - I welcome feedback and suggestions for other classes.
On with the cars...
Race-modified cars
Race-modified cars are all modified versions of cars available in the new car dealership. Each must be purchased from the dealership and then 'race-modified' (you must be in your car of choice, then visit the GT Auto and choose "Racing Modifications"). Race-modifying a car adds a number of different improvements, including extra horsepower, lowering weight and increasing torque, as well as fitting your car with a fully customisable transmission and suspension kit.
Race modified cars are also given a custom paint job, including the ability to have your racing number displayed on the car. You can select your racing number for the car when viewing it in your garage.
