Hi all, i'm currently in week 25 of my 1st season and have bourhgt a few players during the nagotiation period (i'm chelsea) when i view the development sheet for my younger players i can see that their development isn't progressing as quickly as the predicted devlopments (the blue line is not following the red line)

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happeneing or an advice on the best tips for developing my players?....does regulating thier condition help as i have not even used this yet.

thanks!!

PLayers dont develop a lot over a season.
It takes a couple of seasons.
when i started as man utd anderson was really poor but 3 or fouur seasons later he is on my team and is very good.
Bring the younger players on when you are winning games and let them bed in that way.
Another thing to do is when the season is over and you can train players pick one area that you want that player to get better on.Do the training and save the game, then load it up again and keep doing it.
It takes a long time but the players will improve and be ready to start games in the new season.

Another good tip for youngsters if their current stats are not so good but you want them to develop, is to bring them on as subs. Let them get 20-25 mins of play at the end of the game, and this seems to help them develop without hindering your performance too much.

regulating conditions is simply to try to get your players match fit before a game. however this can hinder your players condition if the players fatigue is high (this is indicated by the thin blue bar). you can de-select certain players by pressing x on them. this ensures their fatigue doesn't go up and their condition goes down.

Sometimes you may find not enough players are fit to play in the first 11. This may help you if you find yourself in this situation.

hope this helps

^^^^what he said^^^^

Have also noticed that player dev is not following red line, despite the 'give them a run-out' strategy, which I've benn employing.

Actually thought this was good thing, as if they followed the red line too closely, it would take bit of the fun away, wouldn't it? This way, it feels a bit more like you're a real manager, keenly observing your new charges progress...

...that's what I think, anyway...
