I have just finished my third season as Leganes and Iniesta has just retired. I was hoping to sign him as a 16 year old youth but unfortunately he hasn't been regenerated yet. I saw something similar with Buffon and Yaya Toure but eventually they were regenerated but I have no idea at what point? I didn't play PES 2016 but in PES 2015 it was a given they regenerated at the start of the season. Will I have to wait until January or is it normal that the best players are not spawned right away? Thank you!

Usually they will just appear in the next winter window. Some players appear in the beginning of the season, but they are often quite bad.
Great thank you! I thought as much as the best player that I have to choose from is D'Allesandro and I know for a fact Iniesta and Diego Lopez both retired. I'll wait til the winter then.

Basically half my team are 16 year olds and probably regens as I pick the guys with a few skills. The other half of the team are from the ML Defaults or players I picked up in the first season as young and have developed nicely. Eg. A. Rossi, L. Vido.
My oldest player is Halilovic aged 22.
I am waiting for Totti, Cassano or Toni to retire to pick up their regens as they have nice skills, btw half my team is italian

Looking good, we have a fair few similar players! I had Valeron in my youth team end of the first season, he's now an 82 rated AMF for me, 84 CMF. Halilovic I signed last season rated 82, he's now rated 88! I also have Lobato up to 88 and I signed Rashford first season after loaning him then adding an option to buy for just 7 million! He's now rated 86! I'll get a photo later of my squad. Totti already retired on mine but I missed him!

Got him! He appeared in January as expected but automatically was put into the Barcelona squad, didn't appear as a free agent or in others! Saw the same happen with Buffon. Signed him for 12 million though, he's an 81 rated AMF already and he's just 16? Here is my squad now, 3.5 seasons played:

Some nice player growth there, especially Halilovic at 90 OvR. Is he still developing?
I have to say my Renato Sanches is better than yours with less seasons played :tongue:
He is, yes! Only players who has stopped developing is Bailly, I got him beginning of second season and he just didn't improve haha. I got Renato Sanches last season, he has only gone up 2 for me

Can you post a screenshot of Halilovic's stats when you get chance?
I've had Sanches from the start so that'll be why mine has a higher OvR, He's already had the flashing developed arrow twice for me so i'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before he starts progressing for you.
[MENTION=9368]DunkLFC[/MENTION] There are still lots of regens each transfer window, with the testimonial game to 'celebrate' the main players who are retiring.
I've made a rule that i'm not getting any regens this season, I will only promote and immediately sell ones that appear in my youth team for the cash.
There is still a lot as Silversurfer said but frankly I've found I needed it to make any money! I started with Master League default and I've signed a few high value regens for free each year and then sell them on for at the very least a combined 25 million each season (unless I love the player) usually. The money you receive at the end of the season is so low it's the best way of making profit!

Cheers, I was close to buying Halilovic myself but I went for J. Rodríguez and Marco Asensio instead. Asensio is gone now because he was a disappointment, but I suppose anyone would be compared to James

I signed Asensio too for just 7 million and got him up to 86, I know what you mean though. He did a job but his finishing was so poor but his passing wasn't bad, he was good back up for Halilovic.

Wow nice! :w00t Crazy body and ball control stats, I bet you've had some fun putting defenders on their ass with him.
Yea, he was only 80 OvR for me but at 86 OvR it might be worth keeping him for back up. He needs more strength and as you say improved finishing. You could focus train him in those areas if you have the time...and patience!
I certainly have! Love running at defenders with him! Just need to focus train his finishing a bit before he reaches peak level. I sold Asensio once I knew I'd have Iniesta, Iniesta is my absolute favourite player and an offer came in for about 18 million for Asensio cause he'd had a decent season. Think Bournemouth have him now.. that'll be the day!

Ok I have an unrelated question: In those lineup screens, there is a 92 number up in the top right corner. What does that number represent?

The number in the top right corner is your 'Team Spirit'. This goes up and down over the season depending on the following:
- New signings
- Captain selection
- Results
- Changing your starting 11
The higher your team spirit, the more cohesively your team will attack and defend.
Just to give anyone an update on how my teams looking now I've taken a few pictures. I stopped playing for a while so I've only played one and a half seasons since the original pictures. I've got a fair few additions, mainly legends, Halilovic came along nicely! At peak level now though. Iniesta is going to be insane too!

I've been playing Pes 2017 since Christmas, but i've only just started career mode, i'm in my second year of Master league and i've only just found out about regens. Your Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and them legends were they regens or were they obtained in MyClub and then transfered over? I currently have a Puyol in my master league but have failed to obtain both Ronaldo & Ronaldinho, so just wondering can they become regens in the mode or no?, I cant find an answer anywhere on the internet. A reply would be a great help
