Set your joystick to "Controller 2" under the Controller tab in PES2009's settings, and leave the "Controller 1" slot empty (not assigned to any controller). That should do the trick.
Hmmm... It works fine on my pc :erm:... With that setting I can navigate the menus with only the keyboard (because the keyboard is for player 1), but player 2 can still join the game using the controller.it's still not working.
Well if you set your controller to "Controller 1" you can use BOTH the keyboard and the controller to control player 1. You can even move your player with the keyboard while shooting/passing/etc with the controller and vice versa, but that would be quite awkward .How can you play with both keyboard and a controller?
Maybe player 1 with keyboard and player 2 with controller?
That may be the problem. With PS2 controller you can't map right analog too iirc, right?perhaps its my joystick?? i am playing with PS2 controller ( with converter to PC )
Real PC controller, that is (if you're playing on PC of course). I just can't play the game well using a keyboard, especially when defending.Controller all the way.
