No, you can use any option file on any PS2 version of the game. All that happens is you see different names and kits, stuff like that.

The patched option file is suited for people who play the patched version.

has anyone been able to get the option file onto their mem card using the bin and cue. i am stuck as dont no wat to do when the media player screen is up?

Player stats should not have been edited unless they created new players to put into the game. Boots may have been edited to suit the non-patched version so that will work out differently when playing on the patched version.

All squads should be updated as of the pesfan V3 release date.
I've updated the file posted here very little and in my own version, I've put Nedved back into the Czech team.

In the Player Settings screen press O and press right until it says Default and then press X. Repeat for each player.

Names over player heads lets you keep looking at the play instead of having to look down at the bar with names at the bottom of the screen.

players names above the heads look brilliant, remove the name bar from the bottom and you get more of the picture, just my opinion tho!
