Can't help with the psp stuff, sorry.
Regarding an updated version of the file, looks like there's not too much interest, as could be expected with last year's version of the game.
Still, I'll post something hopefully once the transfer window closes. I'm going to try to clean the file up in regards to missing transfers from summer, adding players to fill out any bare-bones squads, the winter transfers, and I'll probably wind up throwing the 3 new Bundesliga sides on (since I'd like to be able to play with Hoffenheim). I'll post it here and probably in a thread of its own.

dude connoll, an update to the file would be awesomeeeeeee! i myself still havent made the jump to next gen or pes 2009. im actually considering getting an xbox 360 or ps3 now (just to continue my pes addiction), but after all the bad things ive heard of pes2009 on next gen consoles im actually starting to consider fifa 2009 (i know, i know it's a sin). so an update to the file would help me last a bit longer before splurging some much needed cash on a new system! and im sure a lot of us would appreciate it man! you da man connoll!

Not sure how many people are paying attention here anymore, but this is just to confirm that I still am planning on releasing an updated file for the N. American version of PES 2008 on the PS2. I've been working on it and will hopefully release it in the next week or so. I need to sort out the winter transfers and add more players to fill out some of the squads.
As mentioned previously, I'll be posting the file in a new thread, but will drop a mention in here for any interested parties.
Oh, one more thing -- I don't have a PSP, so if someone can work on converting the PS2 file to PSP once I've posted it, that'd be appreciated.

Great news connoll3... I think that PES reached its peak with the PS2 and it's been problematic for me (at least on the 360) so I'd welcome any way to keep using my PS2 with an updated file!

Great news connoll, like FinderKeeper said, PES in Next-Gen consoles is just not as good as it was on ps2, let me know if you need anything, logos, emblems, etc. And I can help you with that PSP conversion too

As for emblems/logos, I'm still in the market for West Ham's new sponsor (SBOBET) and the lil smiley Thomson/TUI logo on Hannover's jersey. If you had them handy, that'd be great:

I'm only updating the German and English kits, plus a couple of outliers from the other leagues. Hope that's not too disappointing, but I didn't think it was worth the effort to update a whole lot of kits, particularly because of constraints with templates and the editing options.

Not sure how to interpret this question. The file I'll release was originally based on a beta of pategato & red town's OF, although there are some slight differences between their file and mine.
I've edited many faces on the file.
I've added the 08-09 promoted sides for the EPL and Bundesliga, but not any of the other leagues. Other teams I've added: CSKA Moscow, Zenit St. Petersburg, Boca Jrs., and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Yes, the file is for the North American (NTSC) version of PES 2008.

I'm hoping to finish the file and post it sometime this week. I'm still in the process of sorting out transfers and trying to find appearances and stats for new players.
If you want to, sure, I'll look at anything regarding formations. I've updated a few already on the file. What did you have in mind? Posting stuff here?
Yeah... 'cuse everybodys dream about an OF the most updated... Right now im looking for the new squads of the Premier League, its kinda hard 'cuse internet suck as hell when u r looking for specific info. At this time i update until Middlesbrouhg, but i want that u guys help me out by checking the OF once i get all updated, so u can tell me whats wrong.. mistakes.. i guess..
so.. thats my plan!

Amazins71, this is the link to the OF that I've played before, for WE
They're working on an update for this season, but I don't know if they've updated all the USL teams. I know that last season's version (MLS/USL 2007 season) they had MLS, USL 1 & 2, and the Mexican League.
I'm sure they'd appreciate your feedback about the Islanders and the USL. Some of them were mentioning other CONCACAF teams too, so I'm sure that if those who are interested in a North American/CONCACAF OF pool their resources at that thread, something good will come of it.

Sorry for the delay. Well the USL 1 now had a new team the Cleveland City Stars. As for the Islanders they have new uniforms now being made by Umbro. If you have any questions feel free to let me know..
