are u all using the option file without problems?? i get the dreaded "error reading file" message every time i try to uncrush it!.. there is 7,5 mb free space in the ps2 memory card, yet it still gives me the same error...

anyone know how to fix it??

forgot to say, the name of the option file appears like "ws???????10????".....

The name of the file is fine like that.
Not sure why some people are having problems with the option file. I'd suggest maybe try formatting your memory card after backing up all of your files. And then transfer the file (using UNCRUSH) and see if that works.

i thought it might be the replay max version that causes the prob, not sure about it though. I mean, if rammstone used a newer version, could that be the prob? i think the one im using is 3.0.

i don't think though formatting will solve the problem, as I can move any other files-saves-option files without any problems. It's that specific one that causes the prob, that's why Im suspecting a replay max version problem...i could be wrong though...Anyone else who has the same problem?

OK,this is funny... I just tried to uncrush it once more (it was like the 10th time)..and I did it!...wtf?? i did nothing different...i can't figure this out...gotta love this... ^^

Uncrushing is just for transferring max drive files. With the X-Port version just transfer as normal.

Hey
I have an original version of the game (ie Non-Patched) running on my Japanese PS2. I have no way of patching my game. Is there an option file available anywhere that is designed just for WE10, without having patches applied??
Am desperate for one with, for example, translated player names etc :)

Pace,
I think this option file is it right now - just translated names, though so it may also be suitable for some early patches.

I could patch, but haven't the experience so will wait to see what comes along...

This file is an early version, will probably be updated, and others will come along with kits etc, made with option files in mind, not patches.

On this file,
v0.4

- All national/club team names translated 100%
- All stadium names translated 100%
- All league/cup names translated 100%
- All club/national player names translated 100%

The team names in there, but not assigned? 50% of teams weren't assigned, but once I enter the abbreviation, it will pick out the full team name from some list in the background, e.g. LIV -> Liverpool.

Stadiums, competitions and most (>90%) Player names.

Have I downloaded a v0.3 via a link for v0.4?

Good work by Rammstone though, and anyone who assisted.

Much appreciated, thanks.

Mr Pace: This option file works quite well with an unpatched game and virtually all of the player names are translated into English.

You can patch your WE10 by simply following the patching guide. All you need is a dvd-writer and a chipped/modded PS2 with the original WE10.

Cellini: Patching is much easier than you think and if people can follow the simple instructions they can patch the game.

Cheers Zygalski, the option file works really well with an un-patched game :) I have a Jap PS2, must get a swap magic thingy so i can start playing patched versions i guess...
