I did apply those - but there's a lot more in the game than I realised. There's not two or three that are left over - judging by what I've seen so far (A-C alphabetically) there's going to be 100+!If you had apply dlf and Valencia fixes and the few in his duplicate thread, it will be duplicate free. The above mentioned players are all free agent.
That's strange - who are the extra players?Thanks Mr.Davies ,
and ALL OTHERS ,who contibuted in this and in other projects.
I imported the Files with YOUR instructions ,tick 2nd box for all Teams...
My free Agent pool in Master league has 2296 players.
I re-imported the Files with MY instructions ,tick 2nd box only for fake Teams...
Free Agent pool in ML has 2165 players.131 less players
As example ...if you import only Arsenal with box ticked, you get 28 players
,no box ticked ,and you get Arsenal with 32 players.
Both were clean installs
Question :Wich Arsenal is the correct one?
Niles, Bielik, Dasilva, Jenkinson.Cant tell ...
Niles, Bielik, Dasilva, Jenkinson.
All youth players that have been added since the version of PES I've been working on, from the looks of it. So, if you import Arsenal without ticking the second box, you'll get those additional players - but I was trying to keep all data as it was at the end of the last transfer window (but those players were at Arsenal pre-transfer window, it's just that they weren't added into PES until later on).
Really difficult to know what to do. Maybe I'm best to scrap what I'm doing and start again with a Live Update installed - but then there'll be an absolute ton of fake players and I'll lose the plot trying to unfake them all...
These are all the duplicates that I've found for A names alone, now that I know where to find them:
EDIT: I've decided that's exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to start again using the latest data, plus the latest Live Update data. No point in half-doing a job.
Won't be ready for a while...
Best way to see duplicate is to start master league then go to negotiations. Advance search and sort by player name. Because looking ate them in master league youll see what actually is going to be in master league. Most fake players dont show up. On youre list i found that theres two a.blake but not the same player. One is from peru one is from jamaica. Same for a.castro. two different players. Not really a duplicate.

LATEST UPDATE: FIX 2 (27/10/16)
See download links below to download the original file and fix!
DUPLICATE WARNING: Duplicates have been discovered - a fix is in the works!
Hi folks,
I've put together an option file for my personal enjoyment and thought I'd share it with you - I didn't want to lose out by using one option file over another, or by combining two different files and losing half of what the first one applied (or suffering from duplicate players).
The aim of this file was to combine all data and images humanly possible, to provide the most complete option file (with the fewest bugs), with an extra focus being applied to Europe and the Champions League once stadium image and manager image slots started to run out.
This file incorporates all the data from several big option files, and all of their subsequent fixes (e.g. duplicate fixes), plus hundreds of fixes of my own (e.g. updating lots of outdated info) until I could find nothing more to fix** - as well as a lot of cool extras (updated banner text for most European teams, for example)!
I've tried to make it as perfect as possible - but I can't predict what will happen when used with a different "live update" from my base (I predict some issues with duplicate managers, for example - I've included manager updates for non-EU leagues and if those managers are put into the "free agent" pool by Konami, and a new guy added, you'll have a duplicate).
My recommendation if you'd like to try this file is to install it without a "live update" installed. That way, everything should work as intended...
Key features...
*Excluding Anfield and Dortmund as their actual stadiums arrive soon.
- No fake teams remaining, fake players removed.
- Duplicated players reduced - not removed entirely (a fix is incoming)!
- Real logos for all unlicensed teams.
- Real competition logos for all competitions.
- Includes the Bundesliga, MLS and J-League (replacing the fake European, American and Asian leagues respectively) as well as all current Champions League teams and all the best Latin American teams.
- Real kits for all teams (including PESWorld's super-detailed kits for the top European leagues) - I've even spent (far too many painful) hours making sure the player name / squad number / shorts number settings are right across the board (i.e. can be seen against the colour of the shirt and don't obscure the manufacturer logo on the shorts).
- All stadium images for the Premier League*, Bundesliga*, La Liga, Ligue 1 and Serie A - along with all Champions League teams, from the Netherlands, Portugal and Other Europe.
- Correct stadium names for most teams** along with customisation (different seat colours etc.) where appropriate.
- All manager images for the Premier League and Championship, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, Other Europe (including all Champions League teams), Other Americas and Other Asia.
- Correct manager names for all teams, including new manager updates***.
- Custom banner text for most European teams, along with correct rivalry data for more entertaining derby days!
- Tactical and lineup updates for most major European leagues and teams courtesy of a great little Operation Sports thread (but not "fluid formation" ones, as I felt the AI benefits more from having a selection of three standard formations).
**As far as I can see, the only things missing are real stadium names for Argentina and Chile, but frankly, this has taken way too many late nights to finish, and I'll never use those teams, so if someone wants to fill in the blanks and upload an update, feel free!
***Some managers have been fired and hired over the last couple of months - but I wanted to try and keep most data as it was after the transfer window closed, including managers. However, depending on the country (and particularly outside of Europe), it can be very difficult to get a club's manager history, and the only data available has been who the current manager is as of today - so for those teams, the latest managers have been added.
Rumour has it that fake national team players can't be found or purchased in the Master League - I'm yet to see one appear, but I hope they don't (because you can't export BIN files for free agents)!
The only other issue is that some stadiums (in Other Europe and Other Americas) have a plain "PES 2017" image set as their stadium picture, because there's no way to unassign a stadium picture without resetting all stadium details and reinputting them (which I wasn't prepared to do). If you're not happy with that, once you've completed the import, just delete the "PES 2017" stadium image - then, you'll only ever see the Konami default stadium image where a team has no stadium image assigned (unless you upload any addition stadium pictures)!
Lots and lots of people I need to thank (from this very website, unless stated otherwise)...
CREDITS: (Permission sought and granted from all of the below - thank you SO MUCH!)
Cristiano92 for his wonderful DFL option file (including the Bundesliga), which I have used as the base for this, paul2478 for providing some of the stats that went into that file, valencia5 for his work on fixing duplicates and creating a log of his findings, angeltorero for his national team fixes, nicoultras for his banner text and rivalry data amongst other things, R8cha for creating the MLS, Dorumagesu116 for creating the J-League, erzo77 for translating it (and providing BIN files for other teams too), Krebstar (of Operation Sports) for providing tactics info, Glen (of PESWorld) for giving permission for me to include their kits which I'm really grateful for, and 4N63L and carrasco1live (Twitter name) for the remaining kits (of which there was a lot).

INSTRUCTIONS:
(Fix files have their own instructions - see their README files or the related posts in this thread!)
Once you've downloaded the file, extract the WEPES directory onto a USB stick (making sure that the WEPES directory is created on the stick).
If you already have an edit data file (along with imported images) on your PS4, you'll have to delete it - sorry, I know it's painful, but blame Konami, not me...
Enter "edit mode" in the game, go to "data management", find the "delete images" option and delete all images from all sections (large kits, small kits, etc...).
Once all images are deleted, exit "edit mode" and you should be back on the main PES 2017 menu. Now, you need to delete your edit data file.
You can delete the edit file through PES 2017's data management settings, or through your PS4's saved data utility (exit the game, go to your PS4's "settings" page, find "Application Saved Data Management", go to "Saved Data in System Storage", locate PES 2017, find the "edit data" file, and delete it).
Once your previous edit data has all been deleted, you have two options...
1) Head into "edit mode" and begin the import process, or...
2) Download a "live update" before installation - this may lead to some duplicates, where a missing manager or player has been created and then is added into the game for a second time by Konami, but will give you the very latest transfers.
I would recommend option one, but it's up to you... Once you've decided, insert the USB stick into your PS4.
Once in "edit mode", go to "data management", then "import/export", and begin to import the BIN files from the stick. When you're presented with two tick-boxes, always tick the bottom box (which says something along the lines of "include squad data").
National teams should be applied first - which is why their filenames start with numbers (so that they appear first alphabetically).
There is currently a bug with the game that means the game will crash when attempting to import too much data at once. If you have the patience, I would recommend importing one batch at a time based on the filename before the last underscore - e.g. import all "ENG_L1" files, then all "ENG_L2" files and so on.
If you try to import too many and your game crashes, you will need to delete the imported images with blank filenames (across all image categories), or they will use up space and prevent you from installing all of the remaining files.
Once all of the BIN files are imported, you can move onto competition logos - all competition logos, as well as their names and details (such as whether sleeve patches appear or not), need to be imported / entered separately, but some information is supplied within the file to help you with this.
To import these images, go to the "import images" section, select the "competition logos" category and import the competition logos as seen on the USB stick (refer to the original download file if necessary, to look up each of the names of the competition logo files).
After this - no, you're still not completely done yet...
You will need to swap around teams in order to have a full Bundesliga, MLS and J-League. To do this, within the edit mode, find "competition structure", set the fake leagues (PEU, PLA and PAS) to have 18, 20 and 18 teams respectively, and then swap the non-Bundesliga / MLS / J-League teams out of those leagues for the correct teams within the Other Europe / Americas / Asia leagues respectively.
THEN... You're done!
When heading into the exhibition mode, "Live Update" will automatically load and completely screw up where all of the teams should be. After the update has finished loading, pressing R3 (i.e. clicking your right stick in) restores your previous database and allows you to play with the correct teams. ENJOY!
PROBLEMS?
If you have any issues, please reply to this thread and I'll look into them. I won't have as much free time from now, but should there be any duplicate issues that apply to everyone (remember, your "live update" might provide problems that other people don't have), I'll happily look at some kind of fix(es).
DONATIONS
Collating all of this and plugging the holes, applying fixes, triple-checking everything is assigned as it should be, and then spotting that you can't see some random team's player names on the backs of their shirt because they're both the same colour... It's been an exhausting few weeks with a lot of logging off at 4am-6am and a very pissed-off missus. If you'd like to donate, then thank you, very, very much. I hope this option file provides someone with some happiness! DONATE VIA PAYPAL
I ended up getting other people involved, teaching them how to do it. Couldn't hack it. Three hours of my life exporting every team - and I'll have to do that again at the end of the current job... :no:Tell me, don't you wish they had a mass export, like they do with imports? Exporting all close to 400 teams one by one was annoying as hell lol.
Yep, they're the same - the European contains the CL teams and the like, South America is the mix of teams including Liga MX teams and others, and the Asian mix includes Hebei China Fortune etc. - the only difference is that I've fixed a few names here and there. Also what teams did you use for the other European/South American/Asian? The ones in DFL?
Thank you for the thanks, man. I appreciate that. I started off just doing it for myself, so I could play a Master League without seeing any "twins" or fake kits, but I'm glad that a few people are interested in it seeing as I'm trying to make it as complete and error-free as possible. To the detriment of my home life, ha!Thanks for your time and effort.
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback!Hi Chris, downloaded your file to have a look and it is very well organised.
This is a fantastic tip, thank you. I hadn't done that, so I'll note down all the changes and check those specific names for duplicates tonight. It would be easier if you rename the players name to the shorter format in the other team names, Mls, the Brazil league and Portugal league.
