console games are only 720p so not much difference between 720p or 1080i

TBH with you my games do not look the same in 720P and 1080i. It is much better in 720P but that is because thats my TV's native resolution. Its optimized for that.
In regards to FIFA: Yeah, I havent touched the FIFA DEMO after i downloaded the PES demo...
I have never seen so many cry babies in the world.
Its a Demo people, and it is Free... I rather receive a free copy of the code prior to the final built than not receiving anything at all.
Positive criticism is greatly welcomed as a form of consumer feedback unfortuonatly what ends up happening is a bunch of uninformed consumer name calling, crying, and whining about a particular issue they do not approve of. If you do not like the Final built of the game, then do not buy it or sell it after you purchase...
In my personal opinion, with a small tweak to the game response and Much improved online play, this will be the best PES for me... After all, this games looks like PES, it plays like PES, it has the fun factor as the PES I loved, and it will keep me playing one more game after the next...
back to topic... I will try placing my TV setting to 480 and 720 for a temporary fix for my gaming experience with PES Demo.

Correct me if I am wrong but no PES game has never been supported by 1080
i thought that myself, but what do people mean when they say try it at 720p instead of 1080i or 1080p if it only supports 720 anyway?
if the game only supports 720 how can you do this?
I'm just enjoying the demo in 1080p HD. Yes there is response issues but I personaly think that it will be fixed by the time the game is out

Just Changed the Setting to 720 and WOW!
It changes the game!!! The game becomes much more precise, and back to the PES we love!!!
Everyone change your setting on your PS3 to 720 immediately!

what exactly are people changing from because if the game only supports 720 then you cant be changing from 1080i or 1080p? please explain
If you have PS3 ...
-turn on your PS3
-Before you go to the game, go to your PS3 Setting
-Go to Manual Setting
-Check the box where it says 720, 480
-Make Sure the box that says 1080 is unchecked!!
-Then start the game and play the best PES Ever! Yes I have said it!
yes i already know all that but even if i have 1080i ticked aswell, surely it still plays in 720p because the game doesnt support 1080i. do you understand what i mean? having 1080i ticked makes no difference at all if 720p is ticked aswell so no need to untick 1080i because the game picks 720p anyway.

Everyone go to settings and untick the 1080, 1080i.... Simply leave the 720, 480 checked!!

For me at least, my "default" resolution is 720, since PES does not support 1080.
What I did was to change to 480 and it got really better. It looks a bit like on PS2 though.

people who are saying they will try 720p. you are already playing it in 720p because the game doesnt support 1080i or 1080p. even if you have them ticked in display settings, the game cant go any higher than 720p so it displays 720p anyway. you can play it in 480 but it looks awful or 720p no higher.

For some reason, it doesn't switch to 720p when I play the demo, it stays 1080P.
