Is there a way to change the colour of this car,
or does it just give you a random colour?
Also, how do you change the number on your car?

the number can only be changed only if it is race modified - but hold off on doing that until nifty tells us the standardized specs. I think he was under the impression it was a race modified vehicle on delivery but it only looks like one with that number on it. However you can give it a new paint job in the car maintenance service. you can enjoy a little theme music from the Sting while you wait.

and a race modified car can be given a number in your regular garage if I remember correctly.

I don't think it is possible to race modify it as I believe it's already been done which explains why there is a number on the side of the car already. What colour cars do you guys have and what numbers on the side? If we all have the same it'll be a bit of a nightmare for the photos as you won't be able to tell who's who.

There's the thread for number allocation. If people keep the same number it'll be fine.

Wouldn't worry about spotting my car... assuming I still have the Lupo, I'll ensure the back of it is recognisable for you :smug:

No, you can't change the number, you can't repaint (so there goes the horrible green paint job I had in mind), but you can change the wheels...

Haha, that's exactly what I did; they're now slightly whiter.

Mak - if you have done a stage one (or above) engine tune, then you cannot remove it. The only way to dumb down your bhp is to use the power limiter through engine in the tuning menu. Other parts you should be able to remove by un-checking them in the relevant part of the tuning menu.

Seems I'm all alone now though. Just me and my nasty green alloys :folarm:

I'll actually put traction control off since everyone else is but since I haven't got to grips with GT5, I'll put Active steering on Mild and that'll be my only assistance apart from ABS

My lounge is now set up and I am in it. Haven't actually driven my Lupo yet - not the best preparation for this one from me.

To confirm, the Lupo you win will be raced 'as is' with no additional parts allowed, except for buying the fully customisable transmission (if this isn't included on the car as standard).

With any luck we'll have a seven-man grid tonight.

I honestly think I am cursed
4th position in my last 3 races?

Anyway, referring back to the race, I ended my chance of a top 3 finish after cutting every corner and getting a penalty. After a minue Fick caught up with me and I just crashed not seeing the corner as I was distracted (Can't remember by what).

Gosh, being first in the first few seconds gives you a lot of pressure hence the reason I kept cutting corners without thinking
