It is to protect the integrity of the player stats within a ML. Too young and they will grow too much. Too old and they will decrease quick. This way it increases the longevity of using the legends with a ML setting.
I haven't tested fully on pes 17 but it was the case on pes 16. There are other factors as well, each fake player has growth patterns that can not be manipulated. This is in my opinion the best solution to cancel things like that out.
If it does not work well on pes 17. Will can always change.
Ah ok, that makes sense. I am playing 2017 ML at the moment, I believe the growth curve behaviour is very similar to 2016.
