Very impressed with this mode this year.Mainly due to your team-mates not being complete tards like previous years.Just started a new BAL on Superstar difficulty and started my career at De Graafshap.The only annoying thing of this mode is that it cuts to a screen with you and your agent every fucking time you earn experience points , what is nearly every week.Saying some bullshit like "your a pro now you need to keep an eye on you progression".
I chose to be a AMF who's pacey and can score but i play mainly as ss or :erm:dmf:erm:..My player feels like beast already.

Cool De Graafschap huh ? I was wondering if evreyone starts at the same club but it seems you get a low ranked team assigned first. I think its a good thing that you need to EARN a transfer to your favorite team.

I Got placed in AC Cesena from Italy. I was very happy with that actually because i played 1 full season in Fifa 11 with Cesena because i liked their kits xD.

But i got to little playing time, way to little, most depressing was that i got subsituted in in the 67th minute of a match and got out again on the 71th. From that moment on i was seeking for a transfer.

By the winter transfer window I got my transfer to Holland because i wanted to play in the country i am from. I got a contract @ Heerenveen, which is actually a subtop team in Holland. With just 5 assists i left Cesena to score on my first ball contact with the Heerenveen kit on, an beautifull goal. I also play as an Attacking Midfielder. At Heerenveen im playing evrey match from start to finish.

I completed the season and ended up with about 10 assists and 5 goals i think.
We made it to the 2nd place and play Champions League Qualification next season, i extended my contract for 1 more year because Heerenveen offered better Salary and play in Europe next season. I will then be seeking to move on to Feyenoord and eventually Manchester United. I have a overall rating of 64 atm.

Well, since i wanted to buy the feature of being able to play with the original starting line up of a certain team in ML, i had to earn some pes points.
I did this by starting a BAL. I play as an AMF and started for Cesena. Was also quite worried if you always start for this club. Fortunately this is not the case.
I'm being played totally out of position - they use me as RMF and CF (alone striker)
Very frustrating, even though i've already got the ability of playing as an ss.
The thing is that i've been playing around 10 matches and scored 1 goal playing as CF. Really like that is much more difficult to impress the coach and get into the starting line up. All though i really miss to play scout match and training matches.

I recommend a transfer, i think they somehow do these stuff on purpose, like the game encourages you to take a transfer. I was also lone striker at Cesena, didnt like it at all.

I think it's important to start well and make that early move to a big club this time.
Last year Coaching + Focus points was fixed.

This year(rightly) focus points are fixed at 8 but Coaching points depend on the club.

Barcelona have 18, Arsenal have 16, Man utd have 14, etc.

That's debatable. A lot of the Arsenal players have came from their youth ranks, while the best united has produced in the past 10 years is Darren Fletcher.

hello guys, i played for a season and a half already, decided to create new my player. started at 65 rating, ss, speeding star. can you guys give me tips how to score? when i played with old my player in those season and half i only scored like 4 goals. any tips would be appreciated. playing 5 min halfs, highest dificulty.

What about Cleverly who got himself into the starting 11 before he got injured same as Welbeck.Just because you sign youth doesn't mean there a product of your club.Arsenals defensive coach is a potato.

Hi Guys! Ive played 40+ seasons of BAL, but I must say the new AI is really nice.
BAL will be so much fun After editing team names and stuff I started my BaL as
17 yo brazilian CF 'Jakinho'.. (57 rating)
Top Player (no Superstar yet) / 15 Mins / Manual Passing / Auto-Save
Rayo Vallecano signed me, I failed to get a 6.5 in the friendly match so I found
myself on the bench in my first real game, our opponent was Barca (lol).
I entered the game around min 65' and just ten minutes later I scored
with a amazing diving-header into the top-right corner. what a goal!
Its almost winterbreak my stats are: 17 games - 8 goals - 2 assists
I impressed Ado den Haag scouts with a game-winning goal and 7.0 rating
and now I signed with Ado for a transfer in winter. They still in Europa League
so I cant wait to continue

My advise would be stay in the dutch league for a while.It so easy to totally dominate in the dutch league .I got a transfer in the first window to Udinese to play European football even though i've been getting better rating's it's much more difficult to get behind the defence.Currently got Chelsea scouting my player.Think i'm into February in my first season.About superstar difficulty, there's not much difference than top player in BAL.

Really liking this years BAL. The AI actually feels like they're working with you, as opposed to mechanically like before (they also don't run across the sideline like last year, thank God).

But I'm still a little bothered about the shooting controls. They feel so weak compared to previous years, and I almost always, regardless of the power I put in, shoot high.

20 games in, I've had literally 10+ shots and headers in the crossbar.

My player is shooting based, so he should be able to rifle in some pretty impressive shots, but it just feels really weak.

Also, I don't feel like I have the same control over my shots, even though my players accuracy is pretty high (I even tested this with a high rated player in training mode and felt the same thing). I aim slightly to the right and the player shoots either straight on, or sometimes even slightly to the left. I don't know, it just feels like the control over the ball isn't there anymore. However, control over the player has improved immensely.

^ Agree. Shooting is the most annoying thing this year in an, apart from that, very entertaining game. It's really addictive!

Man City (16) beats out both United and Arsenal (both at 14) but has less than Chelsea (17).

Ajax, a notorious talent factory, has 8 -.-

EDIT: It does change and/or is different from save to save. So this isn't fact, it's just what was on MY save at the time of writing.

There is no more way to speed up the game when you're not in (or is there?), but you can take control over your team.

the only reason you cannot control the ball whilst shooting is because manuel shooting is not in thi syear and shooting is fully assisted so when you shoot, you only choose how powerful it is which i find infuriating unless you do r2 which is finesse but finesse shots lack power and curl so its only good to aim finesse shots when you're in the box. shooting physics feel alright as it's not that floaty anymore

In my game Ajax has 14, Milan, Inter, Bayern - 19, United 16, Arsenal 17, Barca - 18...

At the moment, this mode ist more than boring. I have the most assists in my ligue an the second most goals in my team. In Opinion of the trainer I'm the first AMF. I also have an average rating of 7,5. But what ist the result. Since the last 10 Games I'm sitting on the tribune and have no chance.

Also I can not speed up the game, if i exchanged. Yesterday that has worked.

In that way, the game makes no fun anymore.

Did anyone have the same problems or a solution for that?
