hi guys,
maybe my english is not that good,but i am dutch
question:in 2009 my first become a legend season played(and directly addicted)
i played it on average.
i wanna play topstar or superstar ,in stead off average
is it really much more difficult then average?and do you get your ratings up ,a little more quicker.

Hi mate, dont worry about your English its very good compared to my Dutch

I play on superstar, which you have to unlock from the extra content menu, I would doubt stats go up any quicker and yes it will be harder but better

As I would assume that you'll be playing the game for a long time, Just put it on superstar, no need to bother with Top player if your plan is to eventually play it on superstar anyway

Just my opinon though mate, do whatever makes you happy is my advice

Yes I do find the game plays better, ie I feel more in control of what im doing. I find it plays a better game of football

Ive got all the auto assists turned off apart from passing assist on 2 bars

"How do you get a good rating?" (on defense)

My CF had a 6.7 defensive rating in my first year, 6.3 offensive. Just stay behind the ball and cut out the bad passes when they come and make a tackle on the bad touches. I also run back into my box to head the ball away a lot.

I have played about 25 games in the my first season and been subbed in all of the games bar 2! i have been getting 6.5 or 7 rating and scoring and still get subbed.

anyone else having this problem? i thought maybe i was using up all my energy by running too much. tried to not run as much but still got subbed. very annoying!

I had to start a become a legend again as i got to the bit where the agents says, go get another agent ill be alright , I did and was subsequently dropped from the starting lineup, lg Joint top scorer, superstar level 7 goals in 12 games I think, didnt even make the training match squad, watched about 5games from the stands and thought, ill get a transfer, signed for the Baggies, didnt make one squad.

restarted only 8 or 9 games into the season, Ive got 4 goals. but ive have noticed that I play more games and stay on as the team im playing for this time plays 2 upfront rather than 1

A bit i find funny in the gameplan when the tactics change are "drop back deep into your own half and give Gavin Cooper(thats me) the service he needs

so in essence Ive got to give myself the service I need:erm:

depends on what position you play, how many other player can play there and whether the other player who play in your position are first choice for other positions.

I only get subbed now when were leading and change formation, but seems to be the one who score.

I have got a save where am still in the first season and i havent been subbed off for VVV Venlo , pretty much the only forward though

Juventus always look to be top of the league when i have a glance at all of the leagues

Marseille out of the french teams, am at barca and the just beat me in the champs league semi's and beat us twice in the group stage, they ended up winning it.

I have come to the sad decision to stop playing this years Be a Legend. Having played the mode since it first became part of the game and really enjoying it, this year the fun has gone.

I was 2 and a half years into my career. Started at West Ham ( In the Anglo Celt League from Goalgerd`s optionfile). Their tactics were quite defensive so I did not expect many goals from the team – However to only score 30 goals in both seasons is ridiculous.

At the start of my third season I joined Rangers. They were last season’s top goal scorers in the league and their tactics are quite offensive. Was amazed to see Rangers then not score for 4 out of my first 5 games against beatable opposition! To rub salt in the wound, West Ham, who in the preseason sold many of their best players, have got 17 goals in their first 5 games!! This is crazy. It seems whatever team I am playing in really struggles to score. I know I am being cheated as if I happen to be suspended or not playing in a match my team score 3-4 goals in the text only presentation of the match!!

This is clearly a flaw. I have tried playing on Superstar level for the majority of the time but also tested this on Top Player and Professional to the same effect.

It`s really disappointing as I love this mode in the game but looks like this year I`ll have to give it a miss. I am not slating the game as a whole, as am enjoying playing online and vs. mates 1 on 1 as the gameplay has much improved for this year`s version, it’s such a shame though that Be a Legend is fooked.

Has anyone else experienced this frustration?

Finding it tough going, team aren't great and chances are few and at between. Just been offered a one year extension. I have had no offers from other clubs, and I am guessing that to not sign could en up with no club and end game?
