BAL Update:
The second season of my career has come to an end after finishing both the Eredivisie (playing for Feyenoord) and the International Cup qualification matches.
Holland got put in a group with Scotland, Portugal and France. Even though it was a tough group, we managed to qualify after beating Scotland 1-0 on matchday 6.
The cutscene for my transfer to Milan followed. Hopefully I'll soon find the time to play my first training match for them.

Hello guys,
I have started the BAL mode a few weeks ago and it is rather frustrating at times. I think it must be a glitch in the game. I am playing as an AMF for Novara and when ever I get one of those missions, to get a rating of 7.0 or higher, I do my best.
In a game against Inter Milan, I scored a goal and assisted for another goal. Rating: 6.0 Coach tells me that it wasn't my best day and that it's best to forget about it. :angry: This is the most annoying part and I have no idea how this could happen. Now I am being watched by Schalke 04 and I fear that no matter what I do, I won't get the rating I need...

I admit that sometimes i don't understand the ratings either.
But you should try to avoid losing the ball. Also getting shots on target and making accomplished passes helps...

Going terribly for me.
Started at Norwich and can't get game. On the odd occasion I do play, the team are so rubbish that they can't even get the ball to me, I rarely get over 10 touches. Finished the first season bottom of the league, conceding a massive 103 goals and only scoring 23.... :shocking:
Just started the second season. Came off the bench to score a 92nd minute winner against Tottenham and then found myself not even in the squad for the following game against Newcastle... which the team lost 9-1.
Only scored 4 goals in my entire career so far (One of which was an absolute thunderbolt from 35 yards against Manchester City). 57 rated CF.
Edit: Finally got a start and scored my second goal of the season against Wolves, unfortunately we still lost 3-1.
Still, 2 goals in 3 appearances with only 1 start isn't bad. Desperately need to get a transfer out of this terrible team, they lose every damn game.

I'm a CM and despite failing all challenges, I'm now a regular in the first team, even being spared from training matches. Though it's still the first season and only October at that.
I have signed for Bilbao from Man.City because i didnt play much there(I played 5-6 matches 2-3 friendlies) i have an overall of 77 i am on my second season and regardless i won the MVP in the Copa America and also winning Best Midfielder Award i still some times get subed in th 65th minute why? and also is it possible to somehow play a new position?

I'm playing for ADO Den Haag and I wish they'd sub me off sometimes. I'm visibly knackered by the end of matches. I'm hoping I can secure a move in January as ADODH only have 8 coaching points.

About 1/3 through my 3rd season and things are... varied.
I ended last season on an awful note. Several 6.0 matches in a row, eventually being sidlined for the last 5 games altogether. Started the next season by bouncing between the stands and the starting line-up at PSG, mixing great games with absolute shit. Eventually, I found my form and now have several 7.0-8.0 matches back to back.
I was selected as forward of the year, which was odd. Sounds a bit early for it, also considering I ended last season like shit. I guess the criteria is a good average rating, and I had a 7.0 average, so maybe thats why.
Looking forward to improving further and winning another French double, and maybe even some european glory if we're lucky.
Still no national team callup
Started out with a 57 rating and now it is 69. Paris Saint-Germain has 13 training points right now, so I'm improving like hell.
Its not too early to win forward of the year i waon midfilder of the year on the start of my second season also won the MVP of the Copa America on my first season and we won the Copa America(I play for Uruguay we beat argentina 3-0 i scored and assisted once)Now im on my second season with Bilbao i am 77 overall and i am a lmf.

Man my guy is only 64 overall now...wish I tried a couple more times starting my career getting a better overall to start with...
I decided not to start a new BAL career with unlimited stamina...
Hopefully my luck of getting to Roma so soon will make my guy advance a lot faster so that I can become a world beater soon!
Will keep on posting my progrees here! Updates won't be everyday...being married had a real negative impact on my game time, but will post updates every time I get to play

Things starting to look up for me now. 3/4 of the way through my second season and I've made 25 appearances for Norwich so far, scoring 10 goals. Even bagged a hat-trick a few games ago!! Not bad for a 60 rated 18 year old in the Premier League.

I'm playing as AMF, Superstar and I got a slight problem on beating AI defenders / DMF on 1v1. Would someone have any tricks in sleeve? I mostly try some changes of pace like slowing, speedburst etc. but pull them off quite inconsistently..
Also btw, it seems AMF is a pain to get good ratings..

I'm playing central midfield and haven't cracked how to secure good ratings either. My manager seems to want me to stay in the opposition half taking shots at goal but that doesn't secure me good ratings. I've decided that this team just isn't a good fit, despite getting in the ligue 1 team of the season. I'm desperately trying to secure a move out of the country.

I just don't understand this game. I just won the FA Cup with Norwich, and I scored both goals in the final in a 2-0 win against Man City...
After the game the manager said I was a real let down and did nothing noteworthy, giving me a 5.5 rating!!!!!!! My agent also congratulated me on winning the cup but said I didn't really do much........
What is this about? It's been happening all season. I'm Norwich's top scorer with 17 league goals and 21 overall but my average rating is only 5.9.
I scored a hat-trick once and only got a rating of 6.0 which is stupid.

AMF, 82 OVR
After 2 and a bit seasons with AC Milan, I had an offer from Barcelona, which I couldn't turn down. Having a nightmare though! Can't get in the side most of the time, which is understandable with the midfielders they have. But when I do, I come on at half time, and get stuck in DMF. I'm happy to play the position, just to get a game, but as an AMF my stats aren't suited to the role, so I inevitibly have a shocker, and more often than not end up getting subbed myself just before the end of the game!
On the very rare occasion I get a start, I'm usually put in CMF, which sends my stats to 66 OVR coz I'm not used to the position, but as it's more suited to my player, I usually tend to play ok, only to then be completely dropped again no matter how well I do, or at best, put on the bench for the next game, then brought on in DMF again
And after 7 seasons, and even after winning the European Player of the Year award last season, I've still not had a single call-up to the Portugal squad
