pes2013 far better game than pes2014, and with no lag online... its a no brainer....
What the shit, man. I have already conceded three goals in three separate matches that, in PES 2013, would have certainly not been goals. The first one was a stupid pass from a player running alongside the goal line towards his teammate close to my goal. My keeper decided to stay on the line, allowing the latter player to just kick the ball straight into goal, instead of, you know, anticipating it?
hahaahhaaaa.....FENTTTOOONNNNNN!I bitch ever year because of Seabass/Konami, they are some lazy sons of bitches....and I decided that if online was not fixed, it would give me some indication that these bitches at Konami really and truly might not have a clue to what they are doing since its intro to Next Gen.
That was 2007. Now here we are in 2013 and online still has not been addressed fully. Some folks have it good.....most don't.
I also did my research on the so called new engine ..and found out it was not new at all.....furthermore, it was not even made for a football game.
At this point with PES still lingering on the PS3 searching year after year after year ...for a crown that it will never see again ...i will repeat my yearly statement...This is just a mere "Has been" series. All you will see posted is how it once was a great game.....it isnt anymore.
Fifa now rules the footie market....and I like what they bring.
I do not blame EA for sucking up Licenses.....I blame Konami for their lack of vision.
Of course Fifa is not a great game ....but at least it is playable on all levels. I play Fifa all year round until the next release. Its online competitions are well built and addictive. The game play is good and the presentation is good also.
It takes less than 15sec to be paired with a opponent and only suffers a mere 15% lag rate.
I do not play offline ...only in shoot em games i do that.
PES offers nothing but stress ......from the lack of transfers to the removal of features yearly to the horrific gameplay. They have made Jenkey a household name here.....maybe he should be on the dev team instead of Seabass.

Playable on all levels? I bought Fifa last year (Yeah I am a fucking idiot) and I only really like playing Ultimate Team, however there are quite a lot of issues.
1. Origin is a piece of shit.
2. You get disconnected too much.
3. EA servers are bullshit, why should I need to be connected online to play an offline game? It's crap.
But Fifa as a whole to me is a boring game, when I am winning 6-0 on ultimate against Man City with a mediocre Ultimate Team... There is no skill involved. Fifa is for casual players, kids or those who do not like to play a good game of football.

There is a ridiculous thing online. Anybody notice at every kick off(whether that be at the start of the first or second half or after a goal), when you kick the ball off, the CPU decides to make the player you kicked off to pass it away. Even though I never pressed pass. It doesn't even pass to one of your players, just into space and opposition always gets the ball. Its really irritating. The only way I successfully stopped is using the super cancel, but that is even hit and miss.
Get used to it, because once you figure out how to defend, this is the only way in which the AI can score, other than with unstoppable perfect through balls to jet-powered strikers on rails.
No yea, this happens on ps too, can you try putting advanced throughball online on the xbox and see if it does the double throughball thing if you say, do a short one down the line to your right winger from the right back... usually my right back throughballs it to the right winger and then for no reason what so ever, he will kick it off for a throw in by himself lol wtf?

Yep, I can confirm it happens online on the xbox. I only played one game with it, but it happened everytime I used it. The receiving player would kick it off in some random direction without me pressing anything. The only way I could stop it was with super cancel. Retarded. Thank christ it doesn't happen with basic.
Also online, the advanced lobbed through ball itself doesn't seem to put the right power on the ball to make it to the target either. Some balls seemed to fall short. I'd have to test that to make sure, but screw that, your stuck with advanced for the whole match as you can't change it back to basic controls online which is another bad thing. Pity its so crap, it actually works great offline.

Infuriated with the online now. Really makes me want to quit.
Went from 18th in the world to 25th...in the space of 2 minutes, without playing a game.
Why? Because when you fail to connect at the beginning of the game, it counts against you (and sometimes for you).
My courtesy rating has now been downgraded to 'B' which means I'm forced to play people in the same situation as me...or people who quit when they're getting beat by more than 3-0.

I've only lost 4 games in total...but my stats now say 13. What a joke.

i don't really have any "rage" against anything in the game, just some frustrations that will hopefully be fixed in upcoming patches. i've played most modes and have enjoyed it so far (except for online since i'm not much of an online player) today however after a few hours of BAL i'm becoming extremely annoyed by how stupid goalkeepers are. this is the 3rd time something similar to this happened in about the same amount of matches while playing BAL (i'm the team in red that scored so i wasn't pissed, just amused by yet another stupid move by a pes goalkeeper)

I don't know how Konami or anybody for that matter can talk about realism in PES '14 a game where Rio Ferdinand can outsprint Theo Walcott. Glenn Murray (Crystal Palace) picks up the ball on the halfway line and just runs through the Man.United defence to score.

90% of my rage stems from:
- bad player switching, not being able to switch players using RS
- ridiculous defender catch-up bug
