I had the same problem. You need to go into system settings (in the main menu of pes) and then I think its download or update or something like that (the last on the list lol). I recomend downloading it via p2p as well (it took me about 10 mins).

After that wait for it to download and install and then it should work fine, although you might need to copy over the edit data again (not the whole thing though)

I've already tried two versions, done all the copying, saving, and deleting then realized the latest North American update is at 1.2. Quite, noobish of me but I'm fairly new at using these updates. I actually wish I just bought the Euro version now.

No I don't think the European OFs work on the US version of the game.

PS, if anyone using this the von option file wants the new Wales away kit, I have up-dated it and added the Welsh home GK kit as the von option file only has the away kit (although I have it the home GK kit set as the away GK kit as I prefer the away kit lol).

Are you considering doing an option file with some of the new 09-10 kits (as some clubs have already revealed), the relegated/promoted teams and any transfers/retirements have happened or are already agreed for next season.

Or are you just gonna wait for the new game in October?

Also just a thought but wouldn't it make sense for konami to release this game to concide with starts of seasons in the larger countries (England, Spain, Italy are all pretty close) I know there are some changes that happen in the first few weeks of the season but surely with DLC and edit modes this could be sorted! Just a thought!

Hey, I have the same problem, but I dont have access to internet on my PS3 as I only have a 3G dongle which doesn't work on it, any other ways I can get the updates on my PS3??

TBH I don't know if you can get the Konami updates without internet access. The best way to find out would be to check out the Konami website.

I suggest Muff not to wait until the new game release, coz it quite long time from July til October til the the game release... And from within that period there are lots of update of player, transfer, and jersey from current game.

And from my opinion in Indonesia, gamers will very excited with that kinda new updated rather than to choose a new serial game such as PES2010, considering buying a new game is quite expensive here in Indonesia. So I hopes Muff will create the OF and updates until the PES2010 is released... JIA YOU!!! GAMBATE!!!

Hey guys,

First I'd like to say thanks to Muff for his hard work.

Second, I'm having a problem and not sure how to fix it. I transferred the files to the PS3 as you asked, but when I launch PES 2009 the uniforms and logos of the teams are not changed. However, the players are on their correct teams (ex. Gudjohnson is with the Barca squad).

Can you please help?

Hi Muff,

Once again i am thanking you for making a amazing option file for pes 2009 it makes the game feel so much real. So thanks mate your the best.

I was wondering when will you make the changes for the new teams coming up to the English League?? For example add the new teams and exchange them with the teams that are relegated.

So i was just wondering could you let me know.

P.S. I was also wondering are you going to change some of the old kits from different teams because new kits have come out? E.g. Chelsea's Home Kit and Bolton's Home Kit etc.

Hi Ollie1981. Yup, I transferred all 200+ files. Is there a specific file that links all those transferred files to PES 2009?

you have to download the latest update from konami`s PES 2009 ( Version 1.04)
Then you should exit the game, then restart the game, then exit again.
Copy all the files and then start the game again.
Than you should have all the stuff at the right place ( shirts and so)
The file you should copy is the DATA and SYSTEM files, they are the importend one`s who set all the file`s on the right place`s.
But if you have copied all the files AFTER updating the game to V1.04 then all the files should be right in the game.
