I did read thats how i sussed it out, but vanillasky wanted help so i thought i would explain cos some ppl like to know things through a reply, rather than going through over 100 posts, so if you just reply with your answer next time it would be more help i think! then you can get all the rep! but i would give the rep to me for bothering to let the guy know how to fix it without tons of reading! as it gets boring going through all the posts & you could miss one or two! does this method not sound more helpful?

Hi had this same problem all night, if you have 1.20 installed already and all of the files? boot the game as normal then get edit data not compatible notice, ignore it and go into system settings then download you need to perform another update, then retry your edit data again im in the process of doing just that right now myself its supposed to work! hope this help, as know one round here likes explaining things to ten year olds, they would rather talk in jargon and make something simple for themselves hard for us lamers.......

the only reason why it becomes tedious/boring is because of people who don't bother reading previous posts and ask the same questions over and over...and thats mainly what this whole thread is! this thread should be less than half it's length as there is enough info on how to get everything working. you'll find that after answering the same questions is annoying after a certain point, hence, why the search feature is available

Are the classis players names also edited ?
And i have already unlocked some of those classic players, but i dont have al of them unlocked. So if i use this option file now, do i have to re-used it again after i have unlocked all the classis players ?

The only way the classic players won't need renaming is if I include my System Settings, which is daft. Everything should be saved into edit data

Muff I've been redirected to this site. It looks like they have proper stats..... I understand it would be an enormous task, but.... importing those stats into your OF, would make the community in tears for happiness!!!

For a start: I use that site for my created players and with every player, I have to edit the stats becuase they're always too good. Fantastic site for a base to start with though. Also, if I did change all the stats, some people wouldn't mind/would be happy whereas most would have nervous breakdowns and stop using the file

Sounds like you might still have the edit data from your old option file

Would using your (Von Muff's) system data file not solve this?

If you don't have PS3 net access and have absoloutly no way of getting the update, you can use the edit data from my 1.03 file and use the kits, faces etc from 1.05

Have you added your system data to the download now so we can get paloschi and the other hidden players.

Also not sure if anyone has mentioned it before but:

Ashley Young (Aston Villa) has only "Young" on the back of his shirt, not A.Young.

Juan Mata (Valencia) has "Mata" on his shirt not Juan Mata.

And finally David Villa (Valencia) needs to have "David Villa" on the back of his shirt not just villa.

Ok I have some expecific questions

Does the OF work with the update of PES 2009? Think that might be one of the problems.

If not, before I install the OF am I supposed to erase everything or just the edit data? I erased everything btw.

And you don't need to delete anything just as long as you overwrite everything with things from my file

I have a quick question myself. Would it be possible to play bayer leverkusen and schalke in masters league? I don't have the EUR version yet and thought if anyone knew of this? Thanks.

The only way you can play as Lever/Schalke is if you switch them and Bayern and/or Bremen around. Take you an hour or 2 though, depends who you'd rather have in ML/BAL

Any News on an Update Mate?

I'd have put it out last night or something but I'm gonna wait 'til I've got West Ham sorted. I'll have a go at the PNG's later and if they turn out well, i'll upload tonight probably. If they don't turn out well and I can't find a decent image of the new West Ham sponsor, it could take a few days

Btw the download takes forever!

I'm guessing you have the American version? If so, you can't use the file :/ Check out mrgametight's

Ok I understand the part about using the z4 site for created players but what I don't get is your editing for players "too good". Could you please elaborate on this? I tend not to touch player stats done by Konami but for created players I don't mind using the z4 site. Could you please list players you editted yourself or you don't remember? For example is C.ronaldo has like 96 in dribbling speed how low do you bring it down and what player qualifies as being too good? Sorry for all these questions but I don't like to mess with "in-game" player stats to begin with.

Need serious help cant get the option file to be recognised by the PS3 got the chants working fine but when i click on Saved Data it just says no saved data found its on the flash drive but when i prss triangle it only gives an information option tried everything help would be much appreciated. . . . . I think he's just saying that the players on the z4 site are rated too high compared to PES players so although he uses the z4 site as a reference for created players he lowers the stats so the players match with excisting PES players.

Actually that's probably even more confusing At any rate I don't think he touches the Konami stats at all.

Basically, yes. I have a Pro account now. However, the pictures in this thread are still in a different temp account I created whilst I sorted the pro stuff. And the reason that the bandwith is exceeded is because of the sheer amount of people that view this thread and threads like it on other boards. I'll fix them when I can be bothered. Doesn't take long, it's just a bit tedious

Anyway, when I used your OF yesterday the first time I came across Bayern Munich and the teammember positions were all messed up so was that just a problem of my PS3 or was that on purpose?

I also noticed Kevin Kurany playing for Germany but he got kicked out so I guess hew ont come back any time soon and it might make sense to leave him out for the next update.

Other than that I am so happy to have made my decision for PES instead of FIFA, mostly because I knew there would be talented people like you helping us out.
