hi guys im downloading this patch right now i had the gansta patch previously is this better?in the gansta i didnt like when the same players showed up twice and classic players played in the masterleague does this happen here.also what option file should i download thanks alot.

thanks alot.and one more thing is it better to keep the gansta patch option file or is that what causes the duplicate players?i dont have a max drive is the option file in this patch in bin/cue format?

When I try to play the game with this patch (I´ve made everything as the guide says) it always crashes at Memory Card initial menu. I´ve tried many DVD recorders (including SONY, Samsung); I´ve tried many DVD like TDK, Sony, Verbatim; I´ve tried many recording software like Alcohol, Nero, DVD decrypter but the games always crashes at memory card menu at the beginning of the game. Can someone help me?

Yes I took out memory card and I always burn at 2x.

I can see the patch is very good but I´m unhappy since I can´t get it to work :(

there's no need for an option file with this patch ( that's what i like about this and sunjun patch is that u don't need an option file cause everything was patched to the game itself.) i wouldn't use the gangsta option file on this patch cause it wasn't made for this one plus the gangsta option file is kinda mess up. there's an option file included with the patch if u want 99.000 wen, that's the only different cause there's nothing edit in the option file included just the wen so u can unlock everything. this patch is the best i've seen so far. no need for option file.

Anyone got just the option file for this patch - I download applied and have played the patch, but deleted it all without keeping the option file...

Now need it to unlock some of the features - saving me time...

And now I have realised I cannot download the option file by itself and would have to download everything again.

Please help someone.

Hello,

Can anyone help me.??? today was my first day attempting to patch. I followed all the instructions, however when I patch the ISO image to a DVD-R, I see that the DVD disc was written only half way around. In other words, the whole DVD shows that data was written up to half way around...And obviously, it is not working when I try to boot. Any suggestions on what I could have done wrong? thanks.

From what I have seen, the disc should look like it has been written on over half of it, kinda like 3/4 of it. What chip/mod do you use with your PS2?

Read the basic guide to patching in the General Editing section and check the whole thread to see through any other issues that other people have had.

Ok, so the 3/4 written data that is showing on my DVD-R disc is normal correct?

Also, I have read it all. I was very careful and thorough in reading all the instructions for patching. I am using the swap disk/lid top PS2. The swap worked with my original WE8LE copy, which is proof that the problem does not lie there. Also, I burned at 6x speed. This was the lowest burning speed I was given to burn, so I had no choice (could this be the problem?). Is it the type of DVD-R disc I use that gives me the option on how low of speed I can burn on? My DVD-R copy says 16x. Which one would I need to buy then?....

Can you post a pic of what the ISO Image file looks like? I think the problem might be that the PPO-Omatic is not applying the patch correctly to the ISO when it says it is. How can I check my ISO file to see if it was correctly patched?...Oh, boy...I need pics in order to follow through on the instructions..I am very visual..

Man, I wish someone was at my house to walk me through it...

General Editing Section. Guide to patching is a sticky near the top. Read it.
Delete your image. Rip a new one from your original disk and start from the beginning.

The disk type you use and the drive will determine your burning speed. I buy DVD-Rs that have a minimum speed of 2x. I've posted a link to a good site that sells good DVD-Rs recently. Try the search button or search through my recent posts.

Yes the reefur patch comes with option files in a sub folder. Can't you see them? Did you unrar the patch properly?

I will do as you say Master...lol!

Ok, so the option file comes with the patch. Excellent! I did unrar the patch properly in pieces (13 total) from the Evo-Web forum, which link was provided in the instructions on this forum. That's where I downloaded it from and then unrarred it.

I will go to the General Editing Section Guide to patching as you said to see if that will help me.

This patch is AMAZING! Thanks to Reefur and the team for putting in all those hours and distributing this patch to us for free :D .

To all you people on here complaining about version 1.0 not being released yet, are you out of your minds :mellow: ? This patch is almost perfect, so I dont think that the next patch will be a big step up from this one.

Some people have also said that 'the database in this patch is all over the place'. I have ecountered very few problems with this database. The only real big thing that I noticed was the fact that Nedved wasn't in the Czech Republic international team, but that was easily fixable :) .

Could someone post a list of major changes that need to be made to this database please. As in players not being at their correct clubs etc... It would be realy appreciated ;) .
