Still can't sort this.

On cup mode when you set it up with more than 1 human player, it will not then let you move the controller to the computer team so t hat your mates can play as the other team and try and knock you out.

Saw somewhere that on the PC version you can change the settings, anyone know if it can be done for the PS3 version.

Game would be perfected if it wasn't for this.

is this for PC?
if so then have you checked that the controller has been recognised by the computer?
have a look on printers and other hardware if you aint sure, it should come up with the name of the controller.

otherwise, i aint sure tbh.

Yeah, its so frustrating that such a simple thing as not being able to move the joypad over to the opposition side in cup mode ruins what could be a great game. It was the same with PES 2008. I ended up trading the PS3 version in for the PS2 version, I might have to do the same thing thing this year. I mean, how hard can it be to simply have the option of moving the joypad across, its frustrating coz its so bloody ridiculous that you can't do it. What are they thinking disabling it????

Know what you mean mate, I thought last year they had simply forgot about it due to the game being rushed out or something, It is very gay how such a simple yet brilliant feature is taken out, I honestly can't see any point to it, Don't get me wrong I love the game but I agree 100% that this feature would make it perfect, really would like to think there is some way to correct this on PS3 version but I doubt it.

Glad it's not just me then, surely they can fix this on the update. Me and my mates have to draw the teams on bits of paper, not very next gen

Or they could just choose not to fix these bugs for the release. That way you and everyone else has to buy the next one that comes out and they make a lot more money.

Let us know what they say pal! Totally agree that such a simple feature should not be excluded. Maybe they just forgot.....

Who says they forgot? Has no one considered they might have deliberatly dropped the option due to abuse of it? I for one know of many PES players who used to move the second controler to the opposing team and deliberatly loose the match so they could win all the tournaments.

If they did just forget to 'fix' this its far from convinient. Infact it would show big weaknesses in Konami's project management. Ronaldo0707 I agree that if Konami are careless enough to leave this out then you are entitled to spend your money on something else. Although it is likely they left it in on purpose like Lexandro said, as a 'cheat prevention feature'. Although seems a bit pointless as people don't really gain that much from winning the touranments on single player, and they could still edit all the players stats to make it easier to win a tournament anyway (if you really are that sad).

Alternativly you could just set it to all human teams and play it that way, then if no one is around and you wish to continue it you could move the human player to computer.

It is the same thing just done that other way round.

All i want it back for is that since PES1, me and the lads have weekly pro nights and nothing bettet than a tournament when you can take a half each of one of the computers team against your other mates own team. It makes it so much more better to play

Totally agree. I am gutted that they have taken this feature away.

I am hoping the updates with change it back.

Do you know where you heard this option is available on the pc mate? I'm getting the pc version pretty soon to keep me entertained on a long flight.. if you can change the CPU controller to a human this would be a huge bonus !

cheers

share the same problem. in fact i joined this forum bcz i thought i could find here some solution to that problem but now that i read this topic, i'm disappointed.
doing something like this to prevent cheating is unreasonable because even now there are some other ways to win the cups if u want to cheat. what makes me angry is that me and my brother didnt face this problem in older versions. the newer, the worse? is this their policy?

that is exactly why it is not there. why dont you do a five minute cup competition where you put 4 or 5 or however many mates you ahve round in. you randomise it and play the computer, eventually you play a mate and turn it onto a 10 min game, it could be the semis or something but its a lot better.

i remember fifa removed this feature for a short while, why should you be able to select the AI team? you can pause it and get a friend in to play co-op thats all you need
