Hi all, I entered the nostalgia and given me for trying to edit the Winning Eleven 5 because for this game only have translations patch but no patch that was edited the game's graphics (kits, shields, etc ...).

But I've seen that with the Game Graphic Studio opening the main file (WE5.DAT), the program only finds some menu graphics and shields of the teams (which I'm editing) but can't find the kits or stadiums .

What other programs have to open the files of the game and to find and edit the kits and stadiums?

Hi, I managed to extract everything from the WE5.DAT with the help of QuickBMS and its author, Luigi. You can find the script and program in the official page of QuickBMS, it's specific for Winning Eleven 5 :)

Unfortunately now I have another problem, all the kits are in smaller .dat files which WE Picture Decoder recognize and open, but palette are all screwed up unfortunately. If you can find something let me know, I'm also interested in this game :) I still love it!


EDIT: Found a solution, just use WE Picture Decoder 1.70, everything works like a charm :)

Tried to make a map of all the .dat files inside the folder number "5" inside the WE5.DAT and extracted by QuickBMS :) When you see [uniform selection] il because I believe (but still not sure) that in those .dat you can see just home and away shirt of the players, just like when you are at the team selection screen. Enjoy! Ah...stadium texture have a lot of "???" because I'm not 100% where exactly they are used :D
