    Hi Mate I would suggest using training mode with those players you wish to use in that way until you become familiar with the handling and button combos. :-) I did this with Chung Yong Lee and now I feel comfortable and spontaneous whenever I wish to 'try' something special with him.

    Go into edit/edit league - then choose the league you are playing in, prem etc, it is in there mate, the changes you make will show up when you load your ML, I just changed the ball myself to the yellow winter hi-res ball.. :-)

    Right this is getting stupid, I have done all things suggested, yes the thing pops up, but not when I press the select button and R1/R2 even when it does eventually appear, there is no change in the vertical level meter at all! Grrrrr!!! May be forced to just choose an automatic option now...
