Yer I know what you mean, Ive seen this, although, the versions look like console versions, with the control buttons on the screen, they are actually pc versions using a 360 controller or ps3 controller.

Although your most certainly right, I tested both a crop picture and non crop picture (straight from pc), didn't seem to be any differences that were noticeable. I think its more down to the quality of picture in the first place.
