Great news connoll3... I think that PES reached its peak with the PS2 and it's been problematic for me (at least on the 360) so I'd welcome any way to keep using my PS2 with an updated file!

I'm also interested in a J-League OF... for PS2, US version. I have WE9, WEPES 2007, and PES 2008. Or can I mod the PS2 to play the Japanese version of the game (which has J-League teams?)

Awesome work once again... Hey pategato! I wasn't sure what to do about PES 2008, I was considering going up to next-gen soon, but apparently the price of PES 2008 is coming down a bit now (19.99 new isn't bad) and knowing that it's harder to get editing done on the next-gens helped me...

Thanks for doing this, j708... it's interesting to play WE9/PES5 with the current season's teams/players (well, last autumn's anyway). I don't mind not having the winter transfers, especially if you might do one last OF for the 08/09 season. That should tide me over until next March when PES...

Thanks man! That helps me decide to skip PES2008 and keep playing WEPES 2007 (PES 6) for now. When PES2009 comes out this fall in UK/Europe I'll be reading all the message boards to help make my decision as to which next-gen console to get.
