i'll say is a matter of personal preference, i find 1.09a AI much harder than 1.08a, i struggle a lot more in the matches with 1.09a. basically 1.08a in top player is similar to 1.09a in pro. Im sticking with 1.09a as it gives me a real challenge!! :)

i have not seen any patcher for 1.09, but im using the included exes happily with kitserver 10.0.4 (and the pesedit patch ) maybe is your version of kitserver?

1.09 update does anybody has the 1.09 gameplay update? it has been posted on pespatchs but the file is not available anymore, and the guy that was sending me the patches is nowhere to be found.. :(

my review 1.08a: AI is quite hard, VERY hard..but i dont find any scripting or cheating..is just frikking hard :D ...but I LOVE IT!!! makes a whole new game for me, very challenging, and much more fun. 1.08b: The game pace seems slower, dunno if it is "more" realistic than 1.08a, but yes...

yeah i just saw Konami's update will be around the 24th, i thought it will be like in 2 months or so..so thats good. Also the list of fixes seems promising ..maybe we dont even need extra gameplay patches after this update? time will tell...
