any idea what cables i need to do this? i am plannin on linkin me ps2 to my pc to sdhare the net connection with, what cables will i need?

wll i need a cross over cable to connect my ps2 to my pc? also will it be ok to use say a 12 ft crossover cable? or will this slow my game down loads cos of the lenbgth of the cable?
