I'd like to retract my previous statement. Like the PS2 version I think you have to get used to it all over again. Played it a few times and I like the way that it seems "faster." It's more like an arcade game the way the players run.
It is very good and I will be keeping it!

Ok, I started this thread so I am entitled to talk more on my progress!
I've been playing PES5 for four days now and am still waiting to have "fun" with it. Sometimes its ok, but most of the time I am just switching the PS2 off due to boredom, really I am. This is not good, I dont remember...
Because there was no goalkeeper on the pitch!
I was running towards the goal thinking I would have to shoot past a one-on-one with the goalkeeper only to realise there was no goalkeeper! During the replay I sifted through each player (by pressing R1) and could not find him!
Anyone else seen...
My mates are getting stressed with it too, one player seems easier, but two player isnt as fun as it used to be at the moment. The transition in terms of gameplay is a lot bigger from PES4-PES5 than others I think.
