    I just tried https://bulkresizephotos.com/ Literally all you do is just select all the photos and drag them in and select scale images to 50%. It did the work for me. Now before I dragged them in, I didn't check if all of them were 2048 but the 3-4 that I did were 2048. So I'm hoping all of them...

    Try the program Paint.NET. It's very good and totally free. I used it to edit some of the kits from 2048 to 1024. All you have to do is open the image up and click CTRL R and type in 1024 instead of 2048 and then save it with the same file type and file name to replace the old one.
