    simple enough. first download the option file into the pendrive. then run the Max Drive disk in the PS2. Connect the pendrive to your PS2. Enter Max Memory section, and transfer directly from the pendrive to the memory card. no sweat.

    U need to run the Max Drive disk in the PS2. Using the software as the intermediary, you can copy the option file from the pendrive to the memory card. simple enough.

    You need to have the max drive disk. it serves as the intermediary between ps2 and the thumbdrive which containing the option file. without the disk, ps2 might not be able to detect the thumbdrive.
