Finally got it to work, patched with fernandos V1 and then repacked the ISO. Works perfect, thank you very much fernando :D

Have tried it without a memory card, but still no luck :(

I'm having the same problem, followed the guide etc but the menus and names still come out in japanese.

Havent managed to patch the DNAS myself, just finished downloading this patch. I'm sure theres tutorials on here on how to apply the DNAS otherwise check this out http://www.ps2nfo.com/on-line.html Hope it helps :)

At last I got it to work, was having the same black screen problem. You basically need to open up DKZ Studio and open O_sound, O_text, etc separate, one at a time only. Select the patch heading in menu above and then select apply patch in image, then browse and select where ever your iso is...

Most of us have left the last file and not patched it, but still get the black screen. Wonder why it works on some machines and not others??

Sorry if this sounds like a silly question but does the WEmerica v2.1 US contain the fernando V5 translation? Or do i have to patch them seperate?
