i played the new PES today. you're right, they've removed the ability to fix the manual pass controls. it can't be done properly using just the joystick and not the click...
furthermore, they're STILL using the non-analogue type manual they used in 2009, the one that is AI assisted. the whole...
i think in controller config they still give you the option to allow the click for manual passing. at least i think they do in 2009 (although manual passing has been no good since PES6). without the click, passing is far more difficult because you can't aim before applying power, you have to...
MattheCat: i tried the exact same manual training goal exercise on the PS2 this week. no videos, but i can confirm you were right about that. the PS2 version has 16-direction manual pass, not full analogue.
this doesn't change the fact that the XBOX 360 PES6 has full analogue. i hope to God...
they need to make it so that your team mates performances are also factored into the starting lineup. you can have a strike partner, he might score a hat-trick. he might have stamina 99, it doesn't matter, he'll still probably get inexplicably rested next game and you feel like you're not really...
they should fix all the emblems! if wikipedia can use club badges, i don't see why konami can't. the club logo is a cultural symbol, not a registered trademark
although if you do this for national teams it might get confusing as most national sides are not identified by their emblem, even...
in 2009 they make you wait for the whistle like its some kind of traffic light. sometimes i don't want the sound on! waiting for the whistle is for the purpose of making sure the referee is ready, it doesn't aid the sport as a spectacle, even less so as an interactive experience
does the stamina bar adjust depending on match length? like if you play a 5 min match do your players not get tired, and 15 min they will? or is it like a percentage of the match that it depletes by?
if it's based on actions then that's bogus because you'll obviously do more running in a 15...
depends, i thought the Liverpool fans singing 'when the reds go marching in' in PES 2010 had a really dodgy accent which exaggerated the rolling R to the point of excruciation. like they were mocking scousers or somethin. also they sung it an awful lot slower
i'd rather have bog standard crowd...
the manual pass is essential for gameplay, even though it was broken in 2010. but i agree trick stick also needs to come back, it can coexist with manual pass.
i hate the way they have made it so only certain players can accomplish skills as well. for example the little dink you get from doing...
they basically design the game for all the teams for different regions. if the game has limited capacity to store the teams from every league, then why not grant you the option of choosing which leagues you want to take part, a la football manager?
you have the option of downloading a certain...
i agree. this is because mark lawrenson's job at the bbc is to sit in a nice cushy studio havin a cup of tea with his mate linekear and quietly chat over the days games with a rich tea or maybe even a jammy dodger
meanwhile at konami HQ
SEABASS: "ALRIGHT LADS, word on the street is that pro evo...
i agree. it doesn't necessarily have to be on the right stick, but i think they'd be much better going back to the PES6 engine and further refining it. manual pass could be the left stick, but i think auto passes are also necessary in tight situations... so maybe you could assign a different...
