Are you sure you extracted the 'IOP' folder from the original iso? It has to go in the rip folder along with everything else.....as a folder, not as separate files. If in doubt, don't extract by selecting all files in Apache at once....extract the other individual files together and THEN go...

You need the newest version of DKZStudio, with the fixed .str editor (search around for that), and you need to edit every .str file in the game (.str files are where they put the text you see onscreen). Like, EVERY one, or else you won't see all your changes in-game. It'll take a LONG time to...

You should do a search for Gumby. I don't know if it handles ISOs but it's the best tool to patch with on a Mac. Saves using Virtual PC.

Your problem is you're trying to patch a rip version. You need to patch original DVD, and THEN apply ripkit.
