I wouldn't worry about playing people in position. If they have the stats you can play them anywhere. I've got an AMF playing LB. His passing and speed is good, and is adequate in defense, so he was a step up from the default LBs.

For 1.5 you can get K Davies, 90 Body Balance, like 89 stamina, 7 form, 90s for header/jump but 74 shot accuracy. I'm sure if you wanted to spend more there are better options, but he is cheap as dirt.
