hi all, ok...got my ps2->pc controller converter from play.com. I can safely say it is the biggest heap of garbage i ever bought. first off, if i play with the analog sticks turned on the players react as slow as tar, as PES5 sets my control pad to buttons (i.e 14 15 etc)...turn them off...

thanks for your responses.. I turned off the Analog sticks and got much quicker reactions from players....so all is well (Never use the analogs anyway lol)

Hey All, Have just started using my PS2 joypad using play.com's adapter. Am finding it a bit tricky, as players seem to respond slower..like running diagonally etc they tend to run either straight up or down when i want to do a a diagonal run. also, it seems that when i press the button...

Personally, i will happily take a little bit of lag...compared to what we got in PES4...now that was a joke. Fair enough its a bit annoying..but i have been playing online quite a bit and i think i got about 2 games with "bad" lag...which was a fraction of what i got with PES4...Go Konami!!!

I always wonder....all these people who give out about the game, be it cant score, losing the ball etc..how many actually use the situation training? I have been struggling to get to grips witht he overall control system myself, but rather than complain about the game or give up all together...

Well, i played the demo..and bought it today..my impression.. Fantastic. I hear where those who have criticised it are coming from..it is different. Graphically it has improved a bit, but the gameplay has been overhauled. In my opinion that is why we buy these games. What would be the point...

Yep..I agree..where is the crowd?? They appear during replays, but thats it...looks a bit stupid to see camera flashes from a ghost crowd.. Great Game Though!! Netz

My own impressions of PES5, having bought all previous games in the PES series, are quite mixed. On one hand i really like some of the improvements we see in the Demo (animation, difficulty, more realistic pace) but to be honest i would have like to have seen the overall graphics be improved...
