im a long serving pro evo fan, without being biased, the fifa 08 demo i thought was incredibly poor in the most important aspect of any football game----the gameplay. it just didnt feel right, no flow to the game. realism is great, but gameplay has to be equally if not most importantly better.

this has happened to me, although it happened wen i slid late on my mate, made it worse cos neither of our playes were on the pitch, we were past the goal line, i got red card and he scored the penalty, all in the 5th minute. Funny i went on to lose 4-1, i ended up with 9 men due to my frustration

It happens in the full game too. Get used to it. It's their solution to fix the slowdown and it helps but there is a little bit of slowdown when playing on 60Hz - when there are a lot of players on the screen (corner or free kick). I never expereienced slow down on Pes4, i think that Pes5...
