Torres and Tevez make a great combination; I play Torres in the centre, and Tevez off to the wing a bit (but still a CF). They both can handle playmaking roles also.

I don't know if it's the same thing; but I once had a player lying on the ground as they do when insjured; I accidently passed the ball to him, so he got up, played the ball on, and then fell down again.

Speaking of scripted matches; has anyone played a game where the opposite happens, where the CPU helps you? I played a game in ML (Atletico Madrid - me vs Nantes CPU); and won 10-0. The funny thing is, I only had about 12 shots on goal. It seems that every time I pressed square near the penalty...

Zola has got awesome free-kick stats. Also, Hierro is not too bad; I've scored heaps with him in my ML team. I've actually noticed that you don't need to have good stats to score from free kicks, as long as you time it right. I've even scored a few with Minanda!

Having not scored in the 2 months I've been playing;i finally scored 2 in 2 days; and have also hit the bar several times. The surprising thing is that I wasn't using any specialist kickers: Tiago and Koller.

I second that motion. It seems that there's alot of people who don't want to admit to flaws in the game. Sure it's a great game, probably one of the best ever, but the CPU cheats like a mf.

In ML I always buy Baretto, (young player, think he plays for NAC?). After a few years, his stats develop and you can really build a team around him.

A re-born Del Pierro is awesome. When he gets to about 24-25 years, he is unstoppable. I think he retires relatively early in the game, as soon as he comes back into the market, snap him up.

How good did Kewell play! Even when he stuffs up with an air strike, he sets up a goal. I can't beleive I wrote the Aussies off before the match. :(

Just to reply to my own post... I called EB at Indooroopilly (Brisbane) and the said they've got it. Pity I ordered it from Garden City - they still think it's delayed.... Don't know who to beleive!
