Hey guys, just got the game but as i'm in work have to wait way 2 long to get home to play it. Was gutted when they took this out of 2008, can someone please tell me if its back in the new game, and how it works? Also are you able to play competitive games in this format........i dont honestly believe that me and my housemate can be beat as a team!! Thanks in advance guys.........

It seems u can only play 2v2 in qiuck matches and u just get a random teammate , so wins /points it seems :( really really sucks!!

disgraceful! I wanted to play in a team with my pal back in England (i've moved to the USA). It's one thing them not being ranked, but not even being able to choose your teammate is just pure slackness.

How hard is it for Seabass and co to realise what people want for online features. Having no friends in the USA who like footy, let alone Pro Evo, I was counting on the online modes to be thorough. The only thing keeping me going right now is that there is no lag.

P.S. I bought FIFA for the first time ever last night. Pretty decent, but not as responsive as Pro Evo to your pass instructions, it ignores some of your L1 presses to change player, sometimes it refuses to let you run to a free ball at full speed, physics are not as good as Pro Evo, and the faces are shit. It's good points are nice passing build ups to pull the defence around, you can set the controls to match Pro Evo's pretty much, some real nice animations that weren't in the demo, and good tricks that are rewarding to master (although i haven;t yet). It's just not Pro Evo though. The ball physics make the game drab sometimes.

i just cant believe it, lets hope with the wonders of technology they release some sort of patch/update to allow this.......pfft!!

you can play 2vs2 with invited players - it won't be ranked but you can create a match room and invite players by setting the limit invitation option. Just make sure your buddies are all on green connections or you'll be in for an extremely frustrating, controller breaking experience...
