has anyone managed to install xploder cheat saves using vista and actually got it to recognise the memory unit? as no matter what I do, it will not recognise it but if I look in Control Panel its down as a memory unit. It wont even let me click on it, and open it through windows explorer.

Any ideas?

thanking you in advance

Chris

Exact same issue as me. Its driving me nuts. Although i am using Windows XP. So not a Vista issue alone. Windows explorer can see the MU as removable disk e, in device manager under USB devices it is listed as " Xbox360 memory unit security device" but when i open the xploder software it cannot see it. Are you using one of the new 512mb MU? I am wondering if this is the reason. I cant think of anything else. Also cant eject the device safely after i open the Xploder software. So there is some big glitch going on.

Chris, i have sent an email onto the support team in Xploder. I will let you know how i get on. Or if they can give me a work around for the issue. Maybe an update is required for the new memory cards?

Ice had this problem with a 512mb card, he said you need different drivers for the larger card ( which makes sense cause windows views anything above 32mb as a different type of memory) anyway he fixed the problem and left his fix on my option file download thread. thanx

GJ thanks for the tip. When i seen Ice's post i thought i had the problem solved. But his issue was with the datel xport, and ours is with the Xploder. I dont think his card was recognized by windows at all. Ours are recognized by windows, but the Xploder software when open does not see the memory card. Still waiting on a reply from the Xploder support team. By the way what card do you use with your Xploder?

Just tried it Claret. Not happening. Xploder software does still not see the memory card. The only time it reacts at all is if i take the memory card out of the pc. Then it pops up the "cannot detect memory card text". But shows nothing at all when it is connected. Doing my head in.
