Hi everybody,I'm a FIFA fan,I've never played pes,but seeing the champions league trailer made me join this site and ask some questions.First of all,do u have any idea about a release date?(demo too).I'd like to find out about the game mods,i don't like pes because you can't play a season,u know, league cup etc etc(at least that's what i heard). And my last question is about the system requirments, thanks! :D

well you can definitely play a career/season, I dont think it will be as good as Fifa's but you get a league base, domestic cups, transfers, stats etc. You'll find the gameplay out plays Fifa, although you may not think so straight away, being a fifa fan. Player graphics are about on par but Fifa probably has better animation. PES doesnt have full licences for English teams, grounds and cups but with the full edit mode coming back for 09 there will be plenty of buffs on here who will make it perfect for all others.

Hi!

Well, I can't tell You about the requirments, since I've got a PS3, but the other questions I could try:

The game will be released on the 16/17 october in Europe, the 30th october in USA and the 11th november (I think) in Asia and Australia.

It's not even sure, if there will be a demo, some say the demo will be released on the 26th of september, others say on the 3rd of october.

There are plenty of game modes: the Champions League, the friendly match, cups, the master league (kind of like the manager mode in FIFA, where You pick a team and start in a lower league, buy or sell players and try to reach the top!, then there is the new "be a legend" mode, which should be like "be a pro" in FIFA, so You create a player, start in a small team and finish in some Champions League final!

I hope I could help You with me answers?!

i'm a PC gamer

Get a game pad controller, a good graphics cards(8800gt,gts 9600gt).
Try out a few friendly matches.Get use to the gameplay, before you go right into the master league.Do not rush , just wait for a 1-2 wks , there will be some good options files.

Well PES2008 plays fine on my laptop at 1280x800 and it has an ATi Mobility Radeon X1600 and a Core Duo T2300 @ 1.8Ghz.

When I purchased PES2008 I had an E6600 Core 2 Duo and an 8800GTS 320Mb. After the 2nd patch that rig would play the game perfect at 1900x1200.

Also bear in mind that the PS3 has a graphics card based on a nVidia 7800 so anything better will be fine.
