What do you need exactly? I've read some tutorials but i'm still not 100% sure. They mention a DVD-Burner, i'd like to know how much they cost and where can i get them from?

I really want to patch PES5 after watching some goals posted up on here and seeing how amazing those kit patches look, i really want to give it a try. Any help would be appreciated. :)

I'm talking PS2, PES5 BTW.

It depends on what kind of DVD-ReWriter you want to buy.

Firstly, they come as internal or external. These are examples of internal and external DVD-ReWriters:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00098Q4P8/026-2567105-2341201

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos...8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/026-2567105-2341201

Secondly, you need to establish whether you want a writer that supports +R or -R or both.

Then write speeds; does your PC have enough RAM or Hard Disk space for DVD writing?

Prices tend to vary. It all depends on whether you want to buy from a retailer or a website. Websites are cheaper in my opinion but if you don't want to pay by credit card then buy from a local retailer.

Patching PES5 itself is not too difficult. The guides should take you through each step successfully.

You'll also need to buy something that allows you to play import/backup games on your PS2 (if you haven't already).

Swap Magic is the popular software that most people prefer to use when playing their imports/backup games on their PS2s. You'll need either a Slide Card or a Flip Top case aswell if you want to use the Swap Magic software.

Let me know if you need any more info regarding the playing of backups and imports on a PS2.
