Abusing the AI for defending

There are few matches I played with this annoying trend: they let the AI do the defending for them instead of manually covering or tackling my players.

So everytime their player covering mine, they switch the cursor to their other player, so that defending is left to their AI.

Anyone notice this trend too?

If you see they changing to the deeper defender and running towards their own goal, this is the best way to defend against throught balls.

The defender AI can't do a good positioning against the throught balls and stands like a dumb even if the ball pass close to them.

But the AI defending in normal games is more easy to surpass because they are very imperfect, just use more dribbling :p

Yeah this is how I mainly defend just due to the massive volume of through ball abusers. Just sprint less and dribble more and they are easy to get past.
