Hi I am fairly new to the game. I am looking for a run down of advanced controls and tricks for the PS3. I would also like a clearly defined run down of exactly what L1, R2 etc does.

i tend to just use SPRINT, THROUGH BALL, PASS, CROSS/LONG BALL and SHOOT.

i have used the lofted version of the through ball but hardly ever use the lobbed shot as by the time i get in front of goal i rush it and can only just, if i plan ahead, remember to press the controlled shot once in a million times.

EDIT: my point was, i wouldn't mind seeing an answer to this question too as it could give the game a new dimension for me.
