Has anyone else found the Advantage rule stupid and pointless, as it doesn't work properly?

I have played the demo, and the DVD beta Version in depth and apart from the first time it happened coincidently, it doesn't work anymore,

I foul some one (or get fouled) and the advantage is played, but the ball is lost immediately doesn't that mean the play is called back and a free kick is given

That’s what happens in real life:
1.a foul is made
2.the advantage rule is enforced.
3.if the advantage is lost in a set amount of time a free kick is given.

So surely if the ball is lost while the icon is still on, the free kick should be given anyway.

If Konami are going to add rules such as this and the handball rule, shouldn't they go all the way with it and make it properly realistic??
I mean, not being able to win penalties through handball is the stupidest thing ever, and last night I crossed a ball into the box, the ball went past my striker by at least a yard and I was penalised for handball!!

The annoying thing is, I really cant see Konami correcting these things on PES 3 so is there really a point in putting them in??

Sorry for being so negative, don’t get me wrong its a great game, I just feel sometimes Konami do things for the sake of them without really knowing what to do with them.

ask that dude who has got the game he will know.

but when the defender comits a handball in the box and it should be a penalty does the commentater say - e.g- 'handball'

because if he does then maybee u can get penalties for handballs.
its just that its very rare.

Someone on here said they got a penalty for a handball - but it sounds like a very rare event.

Advantage is never called back for a free kick which isn't right but oh well. They may or may not care that it doesn't work right, since they can show off the new function in the game. Hopefully by the next game these issues will be ironed out and sorted nicely.

Don´t believe that there are penalties for handball, never happened to anyone from our German forum
