Agility??

Can anybody tell me what the use of the agility ability is?

I've always thought that it helps players perform difficult volleys, bicycle kicks, scissor kicks and the like. Or maybe the higher the value, the faster they are to get off the ground if they've been knocked over? Konami needs to work on describing what the stats acually do.

maybe its the easier and smoother they turn on the ball and also like Ports7 said about the volleys cos a player that isn't that agile isn't going to be able to perform the volleys properly.
but the agility stat might be used more for the goalies than the outfield players.

Agility (by definition): To be agile, nimble, quick-moving. Also, active, or lively.

How flexible they are would be another interpretation - how they extend their bodies to the physical peaks and stretch for things they shouldn't get to - be that a midfield tussle, an aerial battle, or the striker who's stretching to get his toe on the end of a cross. That's agility.
