All arrows black and blue

What is wrong with my team?
First season on ML, professional, with default players.
Last 6 matches in league + one in cup, aprox. 75 % or more of my players have had black or blue arrows (form). I try to rotate, but it doesn't help much when all of them are in bad form.

The conditioning option is gone (which is ok), but what can I do.
The players are bad enough from before.

It can't be the results either, I had 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss in that period, plus advancement against a premier league club (I am in division 2), so they should be happy.

Lets see some red and yellow guys!

It gets worse, now I usually have about 90 % black arrows... How can you rotate anything like that?

My latest guess is that it is because I put most of my team on the transfer list. I play ML with default team, and they are so bad that I try to sell them to raise cash for new players. That might have made them loose motivation...

There's your answer. Happiness decreases every week that a player is on the transfer list. Only put them on the transfer list of you really want to get rid of them and do it during negotiation weeks unless you never use the player and can take the big happiness hit.

Putting a player on the loan list has no affect on happiness.

I started a new game now with only some of the players on transfer, and then I'll sell as many as possible during the break...
