Analog curling vs. d-pad curling

okay this applies for set plays: freekicks, corners, etc.

by using analog (all 4 directions), you can achieve more curve on the ball than using the d-pad.

Is that statement true? either way, what do you guys use to curl your balls in freekicks?

I've found that the analogue stick can give a more banana-like curl to the ball. Useful for corners.

Other then that, I usually stick to using the D-Pad for FKs. It's the best solution. For me, anyway.

For corners I ahve a great tip. For a right corner put a left footed player to take it. E.g Giggs for a right corner and Becks for the left. It helps if the player has good long pass speed, accuracy. SO say you are giggs, move the aim all the way to the byline so you cannot go any further. Tap left once to move slightely away from the by line. Then just hold the forward arrow on the D-pad and Circle, hey presto! 9/10 times I score. It may be a little more than just one left/right tap on the d -pad

I generally use the analogue, and a mixture of both for free kicks and corners (My funky technique)
