I guess you're right, but please, quoting it out of context doesn't do a great service to my post. I mean, I don't know, (is it M'aalem - like teacher in common arabic?)
Anyway, are you really residing in Syria? How are things lately? a lot of new developments regarding Lebanon and stuff...

I did quote a bit out of context, my apologies. I just thought it was a little mean.
I do reside in the 7000 year old city of Damascus and mo3alem does mean teacher, which is my family's name and what my friends call me.
The 3 is used among arabs to signify the letter 3ein, when chatting in english, which is practically unpronounceable to the unlearned. I dont know if your people have such a letter, im not familiar with hebrew, but im sure youve heard plenty of palestinians speak arabic or you know the language yourself.
As far as Lebanon is concerned, the sad truth is that the 'common people' couldnt care less about it. Most of them at least. I go to Beirut regularly and this 'syrians get out of Lebanon' bullshit is really getting on my nerves. Any decent human being should be against the occupation of a military force on a foreign country, but many are taking it too far by targeting all syrians as evil occupiers...when the truth is that our own 'regime' has been sucking our people and land dry for decades.
There is a joke i always used to tell my friends when theyd say 'we just want your mokhabarat (syrian MI6/CIA/KGB/Secreta) to get the fuck out and stop interfering with our domestic affairs' I would say 'C'mon guys, why dont you keep a few, we got too many in our country as it is' LOL...actually its not funny...but if you cant do shit about it, might as well get a couple of laughs out of it.
But to really understand why the average syrian doesnt care all you have to do is check a world map...Lebanon's surface area is a minuscule fraction of Syria's...no offense meant by this. Size isnt everything. But honestly, it takes me 2 hours by car to go to Beirut, and it would take 6 or 7 ( i think..maybe more) to get to the opposite border.
Besides, the average syrians, due to the fucked up education system available to them, dont know shit. Hence, i guess, they dont give one. I love my people, but they are sheep. Long gone are the days of arabian glory. But dont take my word for it, im a very angry person, the reasons for which i hope are obvious, so im giving you my imafuriousmuthafukacausemycountryisinashamblesandsoistherestofthissorryplanet!!! quick answer.
If i were to type a fair one it would require many a page, so please dont ask again about something that will lead me to talk politics, because as you can see it will set me off in a pointless ramble. Unless its a very direct one, which will force me to retort in a more concise manner. :p

P.S: M'aalem, as you typed it, is a classic arabic word used in the common tongues.

Wow. Sorry to upset you :)D) didn't mean for you to go into a ramble. BTW I knew what the Mokhabarat are and it's a fairly decent joke, too.
Take it easy now and unless it's really important I'll stick to football, off-topic stuff and PES.

He should have used the Search button, its not there for nothing is it?

Not reading the rules is like going to the church every week without having read the bible, or knowing what the books trying to make you clear.

Yeah that's fair enough. It would just be nice if someone would explain things like the advanced search (I have'nt got a clue what that is) first time round instead of getting all stressed out about it. It takes a little while to realise what sort of community this is. Let's just be slightly more patient with the newbies hey?
You'll live mate. Have you ever been to school? Have you ever been "new" to a school? If yes, its a similar experience. If not, you can get used to it. You're either one of the two:
1. Once a n00b, always a n00b
Or
2. You evolve.
Your call ;)
