hI PPLS in the land of Oz....has anyone ordered there copy of PES3 ...if so what was the date your gaming store told you they will recieve it?

i am still looking around but one store i found (games warehouse i think it was) said that the release date was november 30

Other australian release dates i have seen are around Nov 18th...around a month after the UK date

I am thinking of pre ordering from a UK store but not sure when i would receive and how much extra shipping would cost.

Best I found was November 7, that was Electronics boutique, still a touch later that the Oct 17 in the UK.

Are our PS2's compatible with the UK game if so might be worthwile pre-ordering from Amazon as on the front screen, works out to a bout $95 Aus to get it here.

It should work, the standard format in Australia is PAL, like in Europe, Middle East, Africa and the whole South-west pacific area.

No i havent pre-ordered as the release date situation is very confusing.

A couple stores say 30/10 or 31/10 while all other stores have a late Nov. release, including the game distrubutor(Atari).

I cant wait that long! :mad:

some 1 should send us over an old game from uk and will try it here in aus and c if it works??
if any1 has a game they dont particialy want.

it just saves all the hassel of us having 2 send it back becasue it dont work on our PS2

I have ordered from os before....uk games do work on Aus PS2s. We use the same system (PAL)...the games are being shipped from the uk to Aus....they are exactly the same!!!

Atari (the distributors here in AUS) have responded to an email i sent them confirming that they are releasing the game in Australia on the 31st of October at this stage.

I've ordered from yeees.com. I checked with them first and they said that their version (uk) will work fine on Oz PS2's. Paid about AUD 90.-
Probably bullshit, they reckon they'll be delivering the game on October 14/15th.

Yeh the European or UK version works on Australian playstation2's cause they use (PAL) yeh i considered ordering through amazon works out a little cheaper...but with standard shipping it will take atleast 7-10 working days..which in the end will be close enough to the Australian realease date..late OCt/early Nov...then you can use a faster method of shipping which will take 3-5 days but cost over 20-25 Pounds around 60-65 dollars...

i pre-ordered mine from electronics boutique..they all say "sometime Nov?". It sucks europeans gets there PES3 earlier then us..considering Japan is closer to Australia?

easy way to get PES3 is at www.cd-wow.com , looks like it's going for 29.99 GBP which is about 75 in AUS, n free delivery, pretty sweet deal

yeh i noticed cd-wow have a great deal with PES3 before..i was gonna use them..but then I realized my credit card has expired plus i already made a pre-order at electronics boutiqe..on Cd-wow they say release date is 20 th OCT..and shipping will be 7-10 business days. i just hope electronics boutique can get there's early nov at latest!

i checked out the site..and they have liste they have stock of it NOW!..im thinking if Atari are the main distributors of konami games to Australia..maybe most games stores will have there copys by tommorow(Tuesday 14th )
