i do agree alot of the times i hold square for the defender to mark the player and he just runs in and slides giving up a red card

So does anyone have any idea why Konami put this in the first place? what purpose does any AI assistance serve with clearances and tackling? Any views?

I think Konami thought we'd all be very grateful when a game previously renowned for its user-control aspects suddenly started interfering. I don't understand their logic. If I've made a conscious decision to try to pass the ball out, knowing there are risks involved, it decides it knows better than I do, twats it out for a corner and suddenly I've got my back against the wall.
