Background of badges/emblems

Could someone please explain how you get a transparent background that won't appear in game?

Thought this was the default for PES5 but does not seem to be the case if you have dl'd and option file and want to make changes.

Alternatively is there a way of erasing without leaving a trace?

I think i might be able to help you with the erasing without leaving a mark problem. I imported some logos from my WE8 option file to WE9 and when i tried to edit or erase these imported logos in WE9, i got traces as well. So what i did was change the A value from 255 to 0 for the first two colors on the palette. So what you would have is the top half being light blue and the bottom half being black for the first color and then pink on the top half and black on the bottom half of the second color. Then when i used the eraser it worked normally and i was able to edit the logos without any problems. As for the other problem with transparent backgrounds, i cant help you there, unless you try this method with those logos. Let me know how it works out.
