Was wondering if anyone could help on a small matter. During my second season in BAL on top player, i moved to Newcastle from Bolton as a CM and played pretty well upto the end of the season. got 6 goals and 5 assists in about 15 games with an average of 7.01, and secured european football but they didn't renew my contract. Overall ave is 6.88. Been playing for england since the first season as well. Don't get why they this happened. does this thing happen more often if you transfer mid season or does it just happen radomly?

It does not happen randomly. I also face the same problem and almost every team i join i do not get a contract renewal. The only time when they renew my contract was when I won titles or the treble. Its kinda stupid konami made this.

I have never had this happen to me. Do you play every game as I believe skipping games could mean you do not get a contract renewal. :no:

I haven't had this problem either... for the first few seasons I would skip games that I couldn't be arsed playing (I didn't have that much time to spend) and I was with the same club for 4 seasons!! So I think some teams will hold onto you whether you skip or not.

i am in my 4th season and this dodint happen for me ,, evrey club i signed to it , at the end of the season where try to renew me !!

same here, every club i have played for (portsmouth, fiorentina, inter milan and man utd) has always made me a offer at the end of the season.

i have never transferred mid season tough.

might be something to do with the toon mate.

my friend had the same thing and he was at newcastle... no club has let me go yet although why barca renewed my contract after the abysmal first season i had i dont know :)
